World Championship 2009
gaiamarathon2009The Village of Crestuma and the Club Náutico de Crestuma will be the venue of the World Canoeing Championships in 2009 that, between 16 and 20 September, will bring to our region the best world athletes of the sport.
The achievement of this World Cup of Marathons in Crestuma is the result of the completion of 28 editions of the International Marathon including several times as a World Cup, carried out by Clube Náutico de Crestuma.

The friendliness, quality and competence in their organizations have been widely recognized by national teams that visit us and by the international institutions that regulate the sport.

Due to this, Crestuma was chosen to be the center of the world canoeing as the venue of WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2009.
