| The World Championship Canoe Marathon 2009 will have a 4,3 kilometers lap, 2000 meters from turning point to turning point and 150 meters radius both side. The start, finish line and portage will be near the nautical club of crestuma as seen in the picture below. |

All athletes will have to navigate, during the race, with all the signalized path boys on the left side, preventing different groups of paddlers to cross between them.
